Investment Objective and Strategy
The Active Banking Fund’s investment objective is to deliver capital growth by investing in blue-chip banks listed in the USA, Canada and Western Europe. The Fund only invests in adequately capitalised banks with a consistent track record of performance. The Fund may also invest in Exchange-traded funds (ETFs) linked to banking indices.
The Fund was launched in July 2012. Its current investment holdings comprise US, Canadian and European banks which are very well capitalised, consistently profitable, have a very low percentage of non-performing loans and pay solid dividends.
