Q. What is the minimum investment in the Fund?
The minimum initial investment in the Fund is €70.000. The minimum additional investment in the Fund is €25.000.
Q. When can I withdraw my money from the Fund?
The Fund offers monthly redemptions on the first business day of each month, hence it is a liquid investment. Typically, we require at least two weeks notice before month end for the redemption to take place. There is no exit fee but there is an initial lock-up period of six months (3% early exit charge for the first 6 months, 0% thereafter)
Q. What are the Fund’s fees?

The Fund’s fees are as follows:

  • Investment Management fee of 1.0% p.a.
  • Annual administration fee (currently at 0.6% p.a.)
  • Performance fee of 15% p.a. on Fund’s share price appreciation above High Water Mark
  • No initial (entry) charge
Q. What do I receive when I invest my money in the Fund?

New investors in the Fund buy participation shares in the Fund at the price per share on the relevant subscription date. Investors receive a subscription confirmation which states the number of participation shares allocated to them and the price per share at which the transaction was carried out. Investors then receive monthly valuation statements of their investment in the Fund, which are based on the price per share of the Fund on the last business day of each month.

Q. If I have Cyprus or Greek companies shares that I want to sell to invest the proceeds in the Fund, does the Fund accept these shares?

The Fund accepts subscriptions in cash or in kind i.e. it can undertake to liquidate Cyprus or Greek companies shares held by the investor and invest the proceeds in the Fund.

Q. Is the Active Banking Fund an approved and regulated fund?

The Active Banking Fund is registered as an Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) targeting experienced investors and is approved and regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC). The Fund’s auditors are KPMG.
